Mary Kay has launched a special-edition collection called the K-Beauty Texture Edit, available from October 5, 2026 while supplies last. It has three skincare products made in Korea: the Melt-In Cleansing Balm, the Snail Gel Face Patches and the Collagen Moisturizing Gel. You can buy them on Mary Kay's website or through Independent Beauty Consultants in participating markets.

Yes, the legacy direct-sales brand your aunt may have bought lipstick from is now making jelly moisturizers and snail mucin patches. Whether that makes you roll your eyes or reach for your wallet, the formulas are built from ingredients K-beauty fans will recognize, so it is worth a proper look.

What is in Mary Kay's K-Beauty Texture Edit?

The set covers three steps: cleanse, treat and moisturize. Mary Kay says it draws on Korean skincare and self-care thinking, with a focus on playful textures and ingredients that are popular in Korean routines.

The Melt-In Cleansing Balm is described as a balm that turns to oil and then to a milky cleanser as you work it over your face. The ingredients the brand highlights are PDRN, rice bran oil and vitamin E. PDRN is short for polydeoxyribonucleotide, a purified salmon DNA fragment that has been a buzzword in Korean skincare for a while.

The Snail Gel Face Patches are cooling hydrogel patches. According to Mary Kay, they contain snail mucin, niacinamide, licorice extract and several forms of hyaluronic acid. The brand positions them as a hydrating and brightening treat for your skin's appearance.

The Collagen Moisturizing Gel is a bouncy, jelly-style moisturizer with collagen peptides, niacinamide and squalane. Mary Kay pitches it as a way to get a plump, glass-skin-inspired glow.

How much does it cost and where can you buy it?

The launch announcement does not list prices or product sizes, so check Mary Kay's website or ask a consultant before you plan a haul. Availability is limited to the brand's own channels, which means you will not find the collection on YesStyle, Stylevana, Olive Young Global or StyleKorean.

The collection is limited, so there is no promise it will stick around. Mary Kay only says it is on sale while supplies last, and it has not said how many units exist or whether it will return.

Why is a legacy brand making K-beauty now?

The launch follows Mary Kay's Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared global brand platform, introduced in September 2026. The brand says the collection is aimed at a younger generation drawn to K-beauty, while still being approachable for its existing customers.

That is how Dr. Lucy Gildea, Mary Kay's Chief Brand and Scientific Officer, describes the brand's approach in the announcement.

It is a smart read of the room. Balm cleansers, hydrogel patches and jelly moisturizers are some of the most recognizable textures in K-beauty, and a big Western brand borrowing them says plenty about where shoppers' tastes have gone.

Is it worth trying?

We have not tested these products, so this is not a review. What we can say is that the ingredient lists the brand highlights are familiar territory: niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, squalane, peptides and a classic oil-to-milk cleansing balm.

If you are already deep in K-beauty, the more interesting question is how these compare with the established Korean versions you can get from the retailers you already use. The fun of the Texture Edit is the novelty of the format and the pastel packaging, which is very cute in the launch photos.

If you are new to this world, a limited collection from a name you know can feel like a low-pressure doorway. Patch test anything new, especially a product with several active ingredients, before it goes on your whole face.

One note on context: KBeauty Codes is an independent site and has no partnership with Mary Kay or any other brand. This post is based on the brand's public announcement, and we will update the story if pricing or wider availability gets announced.
