What we collect

• Code submissions: the retailer, code, discount and an optional short note. We don't ask for your name or email to post a code, and links or email addresses typed into a note are stripped before it's shown.
• Votes and rate limiting: to stop one visitor voting on the same code twice or spamming submissions, we take your IP address and browser info and turn them into a one-way, salted hash. That hash isn't reversible back into your IP, and we don't keep a table linking hashes to people. Your browser also remembers your own votes locally (in localStorage) so a page refresh doesn't let you vote again. That stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
• Standard hosting logs: our hosting (Vercel) and database (Supabase) providers keep the ordinary request logs any web host keeps, on their own retention schedules.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies for visitors browsing or posting codes.

Who we share data with

We use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database and Resend to email a moderator when a new code is submitted. We may use Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-less and doesn't track individuals. If we ever add advertising (e.g. Google AdSense), that network may set its own cookies for ad personalization. We'll update this page first if that changes. As of this writing, no ads run on this site.

Codes are provided as-is

Codes are submitted by visitors and reviewed before they go live, but we can't guarantee any code works, is still valid or gives the discount described. Always confirm the discount in your order summary before paying, and check the retailer's own current terms. We're not responsible for a retailer declining a code, changing their programme or any loss from relying on one.

Using this site fairly

Post codes you actually own or have genuinely seen work. Don't submit someone else's private code without their say, flood the board with duplicates or spam or try to abuse the voting or rate-limiting system. We can remove any submission or block abusive use at our discretion.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. Continuing to use KBeauty Codes after an update means you accept the current version.
